FAE USA has announced that Dobbs Equipment is now its exclusive dealer for PT tracked carriers across Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina.

As the latest step in a partnership between the two firms, Dobbs will also provide additional distribution of FAE USA’s equipment in Alabama. Dobbs has already carried FAE’s full line of forestry and vegetation management equipment attachments for years, FAE officials say, and both companies are looking forward to the new opportunities the expanded partnership will create.

“The partnership between FAE and Dobbs represents the coming together of two organizations that share the same commitment to quality, customer support, and long-term success,” says Giorgio Carera, CEO of FAE USA. “It is a true three-way partnership between FAE, Dobbs, and our customers. Dealers and customers are our greatest assets, and by working together, we create lasting relationships that drive growth, profitability, and success for all parties involved.

“Our goal is not simply to sell equipment, but to build partnerships that deliver value and support for years to come.”

Dobbs Equipment is already a dealer for both John Deere and Wirtgen Group across the American Southeast, FAE says. The company supports a large variety of industries, including land management and construction, and has applications from residential to site development. The company originally became a dealer for FAE in 2022, and has “built a strong and productive relationship” with the firm in the four years since.

Expanding into the upper range

FAE’s line of PT tracked carriers consistently rank among the largest in the industry, with the company asserting it offers some of the most powerful machines in the forestry and land management industry. Under the new partnership terms, Dobbs Equipment will be able to provide those machines to customers, expanding its reach into some of the most heavy duty segments of the construction equipment field.

“It’s going to open up opportunities for us with land management contractors who prefer a purpose-built product,” says Danny Stern, Dobbs Equipment’s allied sales manager. “Vegetation management is their core business. Without the FAE product, we probably don’t have the opportunity to work with those customers.”

Dobbs Equipment says the new arrangement will create a vast array of opportunities for both itself and its customers. The company will have the ability to service large-scale land clearing firms, government operation, and contractors in need of heavy land clearing machinery.

“FAE and Dobbs have worked together and supported each other over the years in various capacities,” says Tom DuRant, FAE’s PT territory manager for the Southeast. “By taking this next step in the partnership, we can both unlock our full potential towards mutual growth.”
