Jack Roberts began covering both the North American construction and trucking industries as a journalist in 1995. During that time, he has covered a host of emerging issues and technologies and won a Boger Award from the Construction Writers’ Association in 2001 for his on-scene reporting on clean-up efforts at Ground Zero in New York City in the wake of the 9/11 Terrorist Attacks on the United States. Today, Roberts has emerged as a leading authority on the rise of autonomous control systems, digitized business management systems and electric vehicles and other new technologies in the global transportation industry. A graduate of the University of Alabama, Roberts lives and works in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
