Equip Expo Announces New Programs for 2026 Show

International landscaping, outdoor living, and equipment trade show Equip Exposition has unveiled a set of new events for this year’s show, set to take place in Louisville Oct. 20-23.
The updated schedule of events now includes a new education offering known as Equip Academy, the show says, as well as the long-awaited comeback of the Wednesday morning Dealer Breakfast and a new Dealer Boot Camp for attendees. The showrunners also say this year’s festivities will include a closing block party at Old Forester’s Paristown Hall, open to all attendees.
“The business is rapidly changing and Equip is changing with it,” says Kris Kiser, president and CEO of the Outdoor Power Equipment Institute (OPEI), an international trade association which owns and manages the award-winning trade show. “So many things can make or break the success of any business. But Equip’s offerings evolve every year to help our attendees keep up and even get ahead of industry trends.”
Something new for everyone
The trade show staff say this year’s show will have something new for all attendees, including an expanded version of the show’s hands-on tree care arena on show grounds. The company says that trainers from the Davey Institute and Academy Trained will host “daily training sessions, interactive hands-on stations, business discussions, and equipment demonstrations” for attendees.
Additionally, the 2026 edition of Equip Expo will feature a keynote address from celebrity speaker Mike Holmes, best known for his tenure on HGTV’s Holmes Family Rescue. Media entrepreneur Susan Packard — who had a hand in the creation of HGTV, CNBC, and Food Network — will also host the Women’s Leadership Reception on Thursday afternoon.
Equip Exposition drew nearly 30,000 people to last year’s show, setting an attendance record, and the show has already sold out its trade show floor space for this year. Tickets for the show are on sale now at early bird prices through Sept. 10, and prices will jump again on Oct. 20.
The show will also include admittance into the Tree Care arena, the keynote address, and the Women’s Leadership Reception with normal show registration. Entrance to Equip Academy and the Dealer Breakfast will require separate registration fees.
