Construction technology firm Trimble has opened applications for the 2026 edition of its annual Trimble Construction Innovation Awards program, the company says.

Originally established to recognize innovators and educators “driving transformation across the construction industry,” the awards aim to highlight construction firms and contractors taking the industry into the next generation. The program honors those who use technology and data from Trimble, both in the office and in the field, to streamline their jobs and improve efficiency.

“Trimble customers are proving every day that innovation happens when people embrace new ways of working, connect teams and data, and push the industry toward a more efficient and collaborative future,” says Ron Bisio, group president of field systems at Trimble. “We encourage organizations across the construction ecosystem to apply and share how they’re using technology to empower their teams, strengthen collaboration and drive meaningful impact across their business and projects.”

Eligible applicants include all North American architecture, engineering, construction, and geospatial firms that utilize Trimble’s hardware or software solutions. Past award winners have included Klorman Construction, JE Dunn, and McCarthy Building Companies, among others.

This year’s award categories

This year’s awards will feature a number of categories, including a ‘Connected Ecosystem’ award, which demonstrates how the integration of two or more Trimble solutions “enhanced quality, productivity, efficiency or other measurable benefits.” Also present is the ‘Process Transformation’ award, which highlights Trimble technology’s improvement of specific jobsite workflows.

The awards have also expanded this year to include an ‘Outstanding Educator’ category, according to Trimble representatives. The award honors K-12 and higher education teachers aiming to solve the young labor issue in the construction industry, pushing the sector into the future with innovative hardware and software solutions.

The awards will also recognize ‘Workforce Achievement’ winners, officials say. This award recognizes the people innovating with Trimble solutions in their everyday jobs, and driving “meaningful change” across the construction landscape.

Nominations for the awards are open now on Trimble’s website, and are due by Aug. 14. From there, a panel of Trimble officials and industry experts will evaluate all applications and select winners. Winners will receive a complimentary pass to Trimble Dimensions, the company’s proprietary conference, which will take place in Las Vegas from Nov. 9-11.
