Get Ready for Equip Exposition with this Guide

It’s that time of year again — Equip Exposition 2026. The annual international landscaping, outdoor living and equipment show is set to take place at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville from October 20-23. Attendees will keep busy exploring 1.2 million sq ft of exhibit space and discovering the latest innovations in the industry, including everything from mini skid steers and software to compact tractors and attachments. And don’t forget the Outdoor Demo Yard. There, attendees can test drive equipment, push machines to their limits and see how they handle in real jobsite conditions. The UTV Test Track is also back for 2026 — giving contractors, landscapers and dealers even more opportunities to compare options side by side.
“Equip is epic, and people are excited to be at the show and part of this dynamic industry,” said Kris Kiser, president and CEO of show-managing firm The Outdoor Power Equipment Institute. “This is the place where innovators roll out new products and talk about where this industry is headed. It’s where landscape contractors try out new equipment and meet the people who design and make it.”
Speaking of epic, Equip Expo also offers an impressive lineup of peer-to-peer networking opportunities, expert-led education sessions and entertaining events like Tuesday night’s Welcome Reception at Churchill Downs. Another highlight is Equip Expo’s new Thursday evening block party. Held at Paristown Point, just outside of downtown Louisville itself, the party will include music from the Juicebox Heroes, a cover band from the Kentuckiana area. Block party guests can enjoy a myriad of local food and an exclusive tasting of the show’s official bourbon options. Below, we share just some of the equipment you can see at the show…
