John Deere has introduced its new BX07 and BX08 SmartGrade Box Blade attachments, designed to help operators achieve precise grading with excellent efficiency and confidence. These new attachments are built specifically for the 333 and 335 P-Tier John Deere compact track loaders. They provide contractors with an integrated grading solution that combines John Deere-designed hardware, SmartGrade technology and machine controls into one seamless system.

“Customers continue to look for new ways to improve their operations and performance while also maximizing their overall jobsite productivity,” said Emily Pagura, product marketing manager, John Deere. “Our new SmartGrade Box Blade attachments for the compact track loader lineup expand customer capabilities through precision technology that speeds up the grading process with accuracy.”

From the press release:

Building on John Deere’s trusted SmartGrade offerings, the BX07 and BX08 Box Blade attachments are tailored for confident finish grading. Available today with 2D, Laser and full 3D SmartGrade capability in the near future, they give customers flexibility to match grading technology to jobsite needs while expanding compact equipment fleet capabilities.

John Deere noted that the new attachment models incorporate several features that enhance productivity and durability. For example, hydraulically actuated flip-up front wheels and adjustable wheel height provide added flexibility across changing jobsite conditions. A recessed valve block supports operator visibility. The company said a heavy-duty box design with edge protection helps maximize durability for demanding grading applications.

Fire Suppression System

On top of the new SmartGrade Box Blade attachments, John Deere is expanding options for equipment protection with the availability of a fire suppression system for large-frame skid steer and compact track loaders. The company said the system is designed to be a seamless machine-integrated solution — complete with a 20-lb fire suppression tank and compact control panel that can be securely installed on the machine for added equipment protection for customers working in high-debris applications.
