LGMG North America Offering New MEWP in Canada

LGMG North America has launched its LGMG S3232E electric slab scissor lift in the Canadian market, the company announced Sept. 17.

Sporting a 32’10” (10-meter) maximum indoor platform height, the new addition to the company’s Canadian catalogue promises to be a “versatile, high-performance solution” for its mobile elevating work platform (MEWP) lineup. The platform boasts reach and maneuverability for a wide range of applications in indoor settings, company representatives add.

“The S3232E is gaining popularity because it combines two capabilities customers increasingly need – a compact design that can navigate tight indoor environments and the working height required for modern construction and maintenance projects,” says Mark Elton, director of product management for LGMG North America. “That versatility makes it an excellent fit for a wide range of applications, including the growing demand for data center construction and maintenance.”

LGMG designed the machine with indoor applications in mind, according to officials. For customers, that means easy access through standard doorways or other relatively tight environments. Additionally, the firm says the new model “combines ease of operation and simplified maintenance,” promising maximum uptime for equipment renters.

Maximizing customer productivity

The S3232E’s mobility options make it ideal for a wide range of applications, including data center construction, commercial construction, warehouses and industrial facilities, and other facility maintenance applications. Additionally, the model comes equipped with quality of life improvements to keep productivity up while on the jobsite.

“Designed to maximize productivity, this model is drivable at full height, enabling operators to move efficiently along a work area without lowering the platform to reposition the unit and then raising the platform again,” the company says. “A platform capacity of 551 lb (250 kg) for up to two occupants, together with a 2’ 11” (0.9 m) extension deck, provides ample room for tools and materials while maintaining a compact footprint.”

The machine also has permanent magnet synchronous motors, company representatives say, allowing for both drive and lift functions. These motors maximize the amount of work done on a single charge of the vehicle.

As of Sept. 17, the system is telematics ready, LGMG adds, making it easier for customers to use than ever before. Operators will be able to install their preferred telematics solution of use LGMG’s optional one, with both allowing for full use of all features.
