JLG Introduces New Vertical Mast Lift Model — the E25MCL

JLG Industries Inc. has introduced its E25MCL vertical mast lift to the North American market. This brand-new, higher-reaching model incorporates technologies and features designed to address the demands of evolving jobsites. The electric-powered E25MCL’s purpose-built design helps operators work more productively and efficiently in confined indoor environments requiring increased reach and maneuverability.
“As modern jobsite needs change, access equipment must evolve,” said Kristine Baisa, senior product specialist, JLG. “Like JLG’s E18 vertical mast lift models, the all-new E25MCL has been engineered with operator productivity, serviceability and jobsite versatility in mind. At the same time, it takes the next step forward in our vertical mast lift offering by bringing increased reach and productivity-focused technologies to a compact machine designed for space-constrained applications.”
According to JLG, the E25MCL was designed for applications such as data centers, facilities maintenance, commercial construction and industrial environments. It combines a compact footprint with enhanced working height capabilities. The company said the machine delivers a 25-ft platform height and 31-ft working height while maintaining a narrow chassis and zero inside turning radius for navigating tight spaces and maneuvering around obstacles in confined areas. JLG designed the E25MCL to help operators carry the tools and materials needed to complete work efficiently at height. For example, it boasts a standard platform capacity of 350 lbs and a 265-lb deck extension capacity.
From the press release:
For the first time on a JLG vertical mast lift, the E25MCL features progressive elevated drive technology, which adjusts travel speed as the platform is raised, helping operators maintain productivity while driving at height. It is equipped with JLG-exclusive Variable Tilt Technology, also available on select JLG scissor lifts, to maximize the machine’s work envelope when operating on slight slopes. The E25MCL design features a maximum leak containment solution to help protect delicate work surfaces. Strategically placed built-in trays are designed to contain 100% of the system’s hydraulic fluid.
To support uptime and simplify maintenance, the E25MCL includes several serviceability-focused enhancements, including relocated batteries under the hood, simplified harness routing and a reduced overall parts count. This model comes standard with flooded lead-acid (FLA) batteries. AGM and lithium-ion battery options are available. And, JLG ClearSky Smart Fleet connectivity comes standard on the E25MCL, offering advanced fleet management capabilities.
JLG added that there are several options and accessories available for the E25MCL. One in particular is SkySense with Collision Avoidance. This is an enhanced object detection option designed to provide alerts and support operator awareness in certain operating conditions.
“The E25MCL demonstrates how JLG is applying proven, value-added technologies across its access equipment portfolio to expand machine capabilities,” said Baisa. “By bringing technologies already used on JLG scissor lifts into our vertical mast lift line, we can continue to develop solutions that address changing job site needs, support machine uptime and improve operator productivity.”
