Gulf Coast JCB Celebrates Grand Opening

JCB and local officials cut the ribbon on its newest full service dealership, JCB Gulf Coast, which will now serve as the company’s industrial sales arm in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
The new location is a “reinforcement,” the company says, of JCB’s continued investment in the North American market. The company is committed to building a strong and capable dealership network across the U.S., bolstering the future of its business.
“This is an exciting time for JCB as we continue to invest in our future across North America,” says Richard Fox-Marrs, president and CEO of JCB North America. “The opening of Gulf Coast JCB is a testament to that commitment, strengthening our dealer network and ensuring customers in this important region have access to the equipment, service and support they need to succeed.”
Gulf Coast JCB will serve as a “cornerstone” of the heavy equipment and construction community in both Baton Rouge and the New Orleans–Metairie metropolitan area, which is experiencing strong growth in the construction sector. The new location’s ribbon cutting ceremony featured a tour of the facility, as well as live demonstrations of JCB equipment.
“Our grand opening represents a major milestone for our team and our customers,” says Steve Brown, general manager of Gulf Coast JCB. “We are proud to bring a new level of service, responsiveness and commitment to this region. Our focus is on building long term partnerships and delivering the solutions our customers need to keep moving forward.”

Expanding support in growing markets
The grand opening is one part of JCB’s ongoing investment in growing construction markets across North America, the company says. Officials add that the new facility reflects the firm’s momentum and long-term commitment to “expanding its presence in key markets.”
“We are excited to be part of JCB’s continued growth across North America and to bring that momentum to our customers here on the Gulf Coast,” says Chandler Cleveland, dealer principal at Gulf Coast JCB. “Our team is ready to deliver the equipment, service and support this region needs, and we look forward to serving our customers for years to come.”
JCB currently has 22 factories around the world, and regional U.S. offices in Miami, San Antonio, Texas, and Santa Monica, California. For 2026, the company is focused on expanding its presence across those areas, with new dealerships cropping up in the Southeast, Midwest, and Texas.
The Baton Rouge location will support a wide variety of applications with JCB equipment, both in compact equipment and heavy line machines.
