Virnig Manufacturing Redesigns Brush Cutter Lineup

Virnig mini skid steer brush cutters

Rice, Minnesota-based Virnig Manufacturing has updated its lineup of brush cutters, maintaining durability and performance while attempting to align with market needs, the company says.

The new and refreshed lineup introduces a series of new models for the company, as well as expanded machinery configurations and “practical design improvements.” Virnig representatives say the lineup reflects recent changes in market demands, while adding enhanced safety features and redefined designs.

“We took a close look at how our customers are using brush cutters today and where we could make meaningful improvements,” says Tyler Monson, product manager at Virnig Manufacturing. “This update is about giving operators more options, improving durability where it matters most, and making sure our cutters continue to deliver reliable performance day in and day out.”

Specific updates include offering the optional pressure gauge and carbide teeth on more models, as well as expanding configurations on the V40 series. The firm also redefined its V60 Open Front as a three-blade contractor-grade cutter, and transitioned the V70’s four-blade model to the premium series.

A smarter design

Virnig has also announced the general enhancement of its cutter deck across all product series.

Officials say the change will improve strength, performance, and ease of use for operators with full-length, wider top deck channels and replaceable skid shoes. Additionally, the new lineup includes angled rear deck corners for material flow purposes, and added grip tape for safety.

The evolved lineup is designed for “long-term value,” Virnig officials say, but the company has maintained a similar approach as previous endeavors with its brush cutter lineup. The firm has promised “comparable or improved” price in comparison to previous models, as well as standard hydraulic braking and drivetrain components.
