Equip Exposition Announces Three Day Entertainment Lineup for Annual Show

This year’s Equip Exposition trade show is planning an “epic” three nights for its attendees, show staff says, complete with a full lineup of post-conference entertainment.
In total, the entertainment lineup includes three full nights of back to back concerts, receptions, and parties.
The new crown jewel of this year’s entertainment lineup is Equip Exposition’s new Thursday evening block party. Held at Louisville, Kentucky’s Paristown Point, just outside of downtown Louisville itself, the party will include music from the Juicebox Heroes, a cover band from the Kentuckiana area. Also included is a myriad of local food and an “exclusive tasting” of the show’s official bourbon options.
“Equip is where our industry learns, sees and tests the latest outdoor power equipment, and get to know one another, but we also want our attendees to have fun,” says Kris Kiser, President and CEO of the Outdoor Power Equipment Institute (OPEI), an international trade association which owns and manages the trade show. “That’s why we have three nights of free planned entertainment.”
Before the big block party
Before the Thursday night block party to end the show’s final full day, Equip Exposition has two prior nights of entertainment planned for attendees. On Tuesday, Oct. 20, the show will kick off will a Welcome Reception at Louisville’s iconic Churchill Downs, the host site of the Kentucky Derby.
Complete with a performance by official Derby bugler Steve Buttleman, who has served in that post since 1996, the reception will include homestyle buffets, cornhole, and sightseeing across the racetrack.
The next night, Equip Exposition attendees will be welcomed into the Fourth Street Live! social club and concert venue. Sponsored by the Propane Education & Research Council, the venue will feature a live performance from The Crashers — an expo attendee favorite, representatives say — and is “just steps away” from downtown Louisville restaurants.
2026 will be one of the final years for Equip Exposition’s in its exclusive Louisville host site, officials say. Beginning in 2029, the show will begin a two-city rotation, moving to Orlando, Florida every other year. The show will return to Louisville in 2030, 2032 and beyond, however.
Potential attendees can still get early bird prices on the show’s website, with pricing staying at those rates until Sept. 10.
