Minnesotan trailer and skid steer firm Virnig Manufacturing has introduced a “completely redesigned” lineup of snow blowers, officials say.

Explicitly designed to move more snow and handle rougher winter conditions than ever before, the new snow blowers aim to give operators the most configuration options in company history. Made for contractors, municipalities, and general snow removal professionals, the lineup boasts expanded width options, as well as multiple auger configurations and “optimized hydraulic motor packages,” representatives say.

“This redesign wasn’t about fixing a bad product,” says Tyler Monson, Virnig’s product manager. “Our previous snow blowers performed well for customers. The opportunity was to take what we learned from dealers and operators, address common pain points, simplify the platform, and build more value into every blower without compromising performance or durability.”

Virnig’s new snow blowers aim to enhance not only durability, but ease of use and overall performance, officials say. The redesigns come as a direct response to dealer and operator feedback, which had called for additional configuration options, improved skid shoe functions, and other improvements.

“Rather than creating multiple platforms for different applications, Virnig focused on developing a streamlined platform capable of serving a broader range of customers and machine configurations,” the firm says. “The result is a more versatile lineup that delivers greater value while maintaining the durability and performance Virnig customers have come to expect.”

New additions from Virnig

The new machine lineup features four widths from 60 to 96 inches, as well as five different hydraulic motor options and the choice of paddle or spiral auger configurations. Additionally, the machine sports an “industry-leading” serrated auger flighting, designed for handling packed snow and ice.

For skid shoe options, the new machine features a total of three, plus a five-position skid shoe adjustment system. Complete with a locking design, the system helps to maintain adjustment settings throughout snow season, according to representatives.

“Virnig’s new snow blower lineup is designed to move large volumes of snow quickly and efficiently,” the company says, “while giving operators more options to match their machine, application, and winter conditions.

“The new lineup dramatically expands machine compatibility and application flexibility through optimized hydraulic motor offerings and additional configuration options.”

The new snow blower line is available now on Virnig’s website.
