Brokk Inc., the North American distributor of the Brokk brand of demolition robots and Aquajet Hydrodemolition equipment, has announced the launch of the new Brokk 130⁺.

The new demolition robot is “engineered to push the boundaries of demolition performance,” the company says. The machine comes equipped with increased power output, a newly developed breaker, and the intelligence of a Brokk SmartPower+ robot, officials add.

“With the Brokk 130⁺, we are taking demolition power and efficiency to the next level,” says Martin Krupicka, CEO of Brokk Group. “By reengineering the powertrain and introducing a brand-new breaker, we’ve developed a robot that delivers greater hitting force, a higher impact frequency, and unmatched performance—all without increasing its size. This marks a significant leap forward in the capabilities of remote-controlled demolition.”

The company has worked to push the proverbial envelope in the world of demolition since its founding in 1976. Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, representatives say the Brokk 130⁺ puts more power into compact demolition, making it one of the firm’s most impressive robots yet.

Key innovations for tough jobs

Brokk’s new machine provides power in a compact space, according to company officials, but still avoids giving up anything in the way of efficiency. The Brokk 130⁺ represents “a new benchmark in demolition,” the firm says, complete with a redesigned hydraulic powertrain. In turn, the machine creates greater force for demolition, using the exact same amount of energy as prior machinery.

Additionally, the machine’s BHB 175 breaker delivers up to 20% more hitting force for demolition jobs, at a 40% higher impact frequency. This gives the new robot greater demolition power than ever before, which also pairs with its SmartPower+ intelligence system. The robot’s “brain” optimizes power distribution, the company says, to ensure maximum output without wasting energy.

“Designed to handle the toughest jobs, the Brokk 130⁺ represents a bold step forward,” officials from the company say, “combining more power, smarter technology, and greater efficiency to redefine remote-controlled demolition.”
