For over 65 years, Bobcat Co. has been at the forefront of compact equipment innovation. Building on its invention of the world’s first skid steer loader, Bobcat continues to redefine the industry with powerful, reliable, high-quality compact equipment that empowers customers to accomplish more. Since expanding into the compact track loader market in 1999, Bobcat’s most recent line of compact track loaders is a revolution in both form and function, offering power and durability without sacrificing efficiency or operator comfort.

Bobcat compact track loaders are built for productivity and durability, effectively blending brute force and power with innovative technology and versatility. With superior lifting performance and operating capacity, these machines excel in diverse applications. Tracks distribute the machine’s weight over a large area — making it ideal for working on surfaces like mud or sand and extending the working season in many climates. Bobcat’s compact track loader lineup is ideal for construction, landscaping, agriculture and snow management, and its large selection of versatile attachments make them do-it-all machines that expand their utilization into a number of other industries.

Bobcat Track Loader Specs and Features

Bobcat T7X, the world’s first all-electric compact track loader

Bobcat offers 11 compact track loader models with operating weights ranging from 6,424 to 12,393 lbs, rated operating capacities (ROC) ranging from 1,490 to 3,800 lbs and horsepower from 55 to 105 hp. Key features of Bobcat’s compact track loader lineup include a Bobcat engine that delivers the performance operators need without the use of a diesel particulate filter. Select models also offer improved cooling systems with high-capacity radiators and increased hydraulic hose and tube line sizes to maximize hydraulic system efficiency.

Engineered with operator comfort in mind, Bobcat offers compact track loaders with pressurized cabs to reduce noise and improve air conditioning and heating performance. Additional comfort features include an optional heated air-ride seat to reduce bumps and vibration. Bobcat’s 5-Link torsion suspension undercarriage with its unique “fifth link” provides a comfortable ride and maximized work performance. Technology options can also elevate the operator’s experience. On select models, Bobcat offers a touch display screen to stay connected to detailed machine information.

Operators can choose from machines that offer vertical- or radius-lift paths. Vertical-lift paths offer increased rated operating capacity because it keeps the load closer to the machine throughout the lift cycle, while radius-lift paths position the load farther from the machine earlier in the cycle for maximum reach at eye level. Customers can also choose standard controls or selectable joystick controls (SJC). SJC helps efficiently run attachments while traveling at slow, controlled speeds. This option also offers steering drift compensation to keep operators on target and drive response modes to customize how quickly your Bobcat loader responds to joystick movements.

Compact Track Loader Advice to Buyers

“When considering your equipment needs, think about the most frequent work challenges you face,” says Ryan Saunders, senior product marketing specialist at Bobcat Co. “Operators should consider the advantages of opting for productivity-enhancing features. Time is money, and new technology in compact equipment can save you both. Telematics features allow customers to access new and historical machine information — from virtually anywhere and at any time. The telematics system provides information including hours in operation, fuel usage, equipment location, critical fault codes and service milestones. It’s also important to consider if certain technologies will maximize your performance or precision. These are all important considerations when it comes to selecting the right compact track loader and features to accomplish more on your jobsites.”
