Brokk Inc. Is Now a Dealer of SHERPA Z10 and Z20 Mini Loaders

If you’ve been eyeing a SHERPA mini loader, you’ll now be able to purchase one through Brokk Inc. The company recently became a dealer for the SHERPA Z10 and Z20. Brokk says these two electric machines make the perfect cleanup partners for its electric robots, and are a good addition to equipment fleets that require a compact, emissions-free solution.
“We are pleased to offer SHERPA electric mini loaders to the North American market,” said Jeff Keeling, vice president of sales and marketing at Brokk Inc. “SHERPA is a well-established manufacturer that has offered innovative products for decades. Pairing a Brokk demolition robot with a SHERPA mini loader will benefit our customers by reducing manual labor and implementing electric solutions for the whole demolition process, from breaking to cleanup.”
More on the SHERPA Machines
Both the SHERPA Z10 and Z20 are 30 in. wide and easily fit through a standard doorway. They also offer two gears — higher speed for covering ground and lower speed for more precise maneuvering. According to the press release, the SHERPA Z10 features a 9.6 kWh lead-acid battery that can work up to six continuous hours. It weighs 2,072 lbs with standard tires and is well suited for working on hard surfaces, such as concrete or stone.
If operators need more power and less weight, they should check out the SHERPA Z20. This machine is powered by a 13.5 kWh lithium-ion battery that reduces its weight to 1,730 lbs. Brokk says the SHERPA Z20 can work continuously up to six hours — or eight if it’s charged during a one-hour period, such as a lunch break. Thanks to its lower weight, the SHERPA Z20 can be transported in an elevator and is well suited for low floor loads.
More from the press release:
The Z10 and Z20 are ergonomically optimized for worker health and safety. The operator stands in an ergonomic position with controls within hand’s reach to prevent awkward stances that cause strain. Both models are equipped with an adjustable footplate and hip protection.
Both of the SHERPA mini loaders can be equipped with attachments for added versatility. Some options include various standard bucket sizes, a 4-in-1 bucket and pallet forks.
