South Dakotan vegetation management and roadside maintenance attachments company Diamond Mowers has announced its annual Dealer Demo Days and Champion Training events.

Designed to provide hands-on educational opportunities for equipment dealers around the U.S., the two programs serve a number of niches within the construction industry. The company says both events will be of service to contractors, municipalities, forestry professionals, and land management crews alike.

“A strong dealer network is built on more than inventory,” says Dacotah Buum, sales project manager at Diamond. “It comes from training, shared knowledge, and the ability to help customers make informed decisions when they are investing in equipment to meet ever increasing work demands.”

Dealer partnerships and educational opportunities are becoming increasingly important in the construction sector, Diamond Mowers officials says. As equipment and its applications continue to become more specialized, partners can help customers select, maintain, and maximize performance equivalent, the company adds.

Investing in the industrial future

“Seeing equipment perform on the job helps bring application discussions into sharper focus,” Buum says. “That kind of visibility can help dealers and customers evaluate what works best for the application in front of them.”

Dealer Demo Days gives Diamond Mowers’ customers exactly that sort of opportunity, company officials say. With face to face educational opportunities for dealers, contractors, and operators, the event creates space for crucial conversations in industrial circles.

The Diamond Mowers Champion Trainings events will be held as a two-day course that combines classroom and field instruction, the company says. Complete with hands on training at the firm’s Sioux Falls, South Dakota headquarters, participants will receive factory tours and operation tips on Diamond equipment.

The company says that beyond live events, it also provides its dealer network with resources, service guidance, and access to parts. The company’s Diamond on Demand Dealer Portal “which serves as one part of a broader resource network,” the firm says, focused on assisting customers and streamlining communication.

“Whether they choose in-person events or access to online resources, dealers can count on Diamond’s support to get the job done,” Buum adds. “When dealers are equipped to answer questions faster and advise customers with greater confidence, crews can stay focused on the work in front of them.”

This year’s Champion Training sessions will take place on July 22-23, Aug. 26-27, and Sept. 16-17.
