Bobcat Provides Equipment for X Games Course Design Crew

American equipment titan Bobcat is providing machinery for the course design crew of the 2026 MoonPay X Games League, the company says.
Kicking off in Sacramento, California earlier this summer, the inaugural X Games League season included BMX dirt courses, constructed with Bobcat equipment. The company provided compact track loaders, skid-steer loaders, excavators, and large wheel loaders as part of its partnership as the Official Equipment Partner of the X Games.
Laura Ness Owens, chief marketing officer for Bobcat, says the company’s wide variety of equipment saw major usage throughout the course construction process. In order to get Sacramento, New Orleans, and Chiba, Japan ready for the X Games League, crews worked behind the scenes with Bobcat equipment to transform raw dirt into ramps and competitive environments, the company says.
“As a company built around hard work, craftsmanship and getting the job done right, we’re proud to support the people behind the scenes who make X Games possible,” she says. “The spotlight belongs to the athletes, and we’re honored Bobcat equipment, powered by the skilled crews who prepared every landing, sculpted every feature and built every course, could make this a reality.”
Building motorsport history
Bobcat’s primary focus throughout this X Games League season was to not only build the dirt for BMX courses, but fine-tune it, the company says. League officials add that the crew’s work with Bobcat equipment “helped set the stage for historic, never-before-done moments” throughout the season.
“Delivering world-class action sports events requires world-class infrastructure and vision,” says Cherie Cohen, chief revenue officer for the X Games. “As we launch the inaugural MoonPay X Games League, partnership with Bobcat ensures our venues match the extraordinary talent of our athletes.
“Bobcat’s equipment gives our build crews the precision and power needed to turn raw terrain into iconic competition stages, driving incredible value for our brand, our sponsors and our global fan base.”
The partnership between the X Games League and Bobcat “reflects a shared appreciation for performance, precision and pushing limits,” Bobcat representatives say. The crew using Bobcat equipment was able to turn the league’s vision into reality, the firm adds.
“At Bobcat, we often say that tough work creates remarkable results,” Ness Owens adds. “The people building these venues embody that mindset every day. We’re proud to help provide the tools that turn their vision into reality.”
The X Games League’s inaugural summer season finished up July 24-26 in New Orleans, the organization says. The league says crews “spent weeks prepping the dirt course with precision” with Bobcat equipment.
