Ignite Attachments Adds a New Box Plane and Grapple to its Compact Tractor Lineup

Ignite Attachments recently released two new products to its compact tractor lineup: a box plane and compact tractor grapple. The company — which launched in 2022 — says these additions reinforce its commitment to providing durable, high-performance tools that help operators tackle tough jobs efficiently.
“The needs of compact equipment operators are evolving, and we’re evolving with them,” said Trisha Pearson, business director at Ignite Attachments. “The box plane and compact tractor grapple were designed for versatility, durability and efficiency — giving customers high-quality performance without unnecessary complexity.”
Ignite Attachments’ Box Plane
The new box plane from Ignite Attachments is available in three different working widths — 48-, 60- and 72-in. — and combines the functions of a box blade and land grader into a single attachment. The company says the box plane is well suited for driveway maintenance, landscaping and site prep.
From the press release:
Its convertible rear gate allows operators to adjust material flow based on the task. Closing the gate makes it easy to move and carry material, while opening it transforms the box plane into a grader for precise leveling. Multiple scarifier shanks, each with three height adjustment settings, help loosen compacted material before smoothing it out.
Designed for compact tractors with 20 to 60 gross engine horsepower, Ignite box planes are built with a reinforced heavy-duty steel frame for durability. The attachment features a removable forward cutting edge for added versatility. It is compatible with Category 1 3-point hitches, including quick-hitch setups.
A New Compact Tractor Grapple
Ignite’s new compact tractor grapple is available in 48- and 60-in. sizes and is built for handling brush, logs and debris. Property owners, landscapers and farmers can count on this new attachment for a reliable, cost-effective material handling solution.
More from the press release:
Building on Ignite’s award-winning grapple lineup, this model is engineered for optimal weight distribution, allowing operators to use more of their tractor’s rated lifting capacity. By keeping weight balanced, the grapple enables users to lift more material per load while improving stability.
Speaking of weight, the 48-in. model weighs in 227 lbs with a grapple opening of 35.9 in. The 60-in. grapple weighs 366 lbs with an opening of 43 in. Both sizes are constructed with a durable steel frame.
Ignite says the grapple boasts a high-strength clamping force to ensure materials remain secure during transport. It is available with universal quick-attach or hook-and-pin connections. Operators can also utilize the grapple’s flat-faced coupler for fast connection, reducing downtime between tasks.
