Get to Know JCB’s AJ48D Articulated Boom

The JCB AJ48D articulated boom, part of JCB’s mobile elevated work platform (MEWP) range was a highlight at the American Rental Association Trade (ARA) Show in mid-October. Equipped with high standards of design, durability and strength, the machine is powered by a Tier-4-Final JCB by Kohler Diesel engine, with a load capacity up to 551lbs, enough for two occupants and tools and 48 ft, 4 in. of lift height.

Both base and platform controls offer a user-friendly layout with function speed control, for operator ease-of-use and stable operation. The machine is equipped with the same high quality components that have proven durability on JCB construction equipment.
