Club Car recently introduced its VersAttach bed-based attachment system for its Carryall utility and transport vehicles putting an end to unsightly “field engineering” to transport equipment to jobsites.

Think about it, many facilities and grounds managers, parks and recreation professionals, industrial workers, resort managers and others often use bungee cords, ropes, zip ties and at times tape to organize and protect the equipment in the beds of their utility vehicles.

“VersAttach is a configurable, removable, track-based bed attachment system for our Carryall utility vehicles, street-legal Carryall LSVs (low speed vehicles) and Transporter transport vehicles,” says Ross Lyons, product manager, utility platform.

Club Car designed the system in response to customer requests and based it on a new and patented bed and mount design. Fit-to-task Versatility The system accommodates 10 VersAttach tools, specially designed to organize equipment and gear and let crews move quickly from job to job.

The tools include:
• Standard, ratcheting and long tool holders
• Backpack blower racks
• Ladder racks
• Short and long bed dividers
• Cargo tie downs
• Water cooler and fuel-pack holders

“VersAttach can be configured for specific jobs in virtually all applications. When it’s not needed, it can be removed in a snap,” says Kurt Meyer, commercial marketing manager.

For even greater versatility, Club Car offers a portfolio of more than 100 commercial accessories and custom options designed for specific jobs.

“We also operate the largest and most experienced Custom Solutions Department in the industry, where we can design unique vehicles for your specific applications,” Meyer says.

The aluminum beds in the new vehicles feature a Rhino-lining, the same tough material used to line the beds of many pickup trucks. A truck-like, single-handed, latch-and-release tailgate runs across the width of the vehicle and can be opened from either side or the center.

“The VersAttach system, coupled with the Carryall’s new best-in class EFI engine and rustproof aluminum frame, make the Carryall line the most powerful, durable and versatile utility and transport vehicles on the market,” Meyer says.

Carryall utility vehicles are available in electric, gas and diesel; two-wheel and automatic all-wheel drive; and two-and four-passenger models. Transporters carry four or six passengers, and Carryall LSVs carry two passengers and come with regular or extended beds.

“The new VersAttach system is just an example of how Club Car understands and meets the needs of its commercial and industrial customers. We have more innovations in the pipeline that will improve efficiency, cut costs and allow you to do more with less,” Meyer says.
