The New Face of Machine Heads, A Couple Awards and a Bigger Giveaway: Compact Equipment’s 2023 Year in Review

Another year has come and almost gone and we’re so proud of how 2023 turned out. Scroll down to see a few things that made the past 365 days so special around the Compact Equipment headquarters.

We added Wayne Grayson to the Machine Heads crew.

In 2023, we introduced Wayne Grayson as the new face and producer behind our popular Machine Heads video series. Grayson is a seasoned video producer with a passion for construction technology and a talent for storytelling that brings the intricacies of machinery to life. Stay tuned for even more top quality videos in 2024!

We won a couple awards… including Best Issue of the Year!

This year we were honored to receive two awards from the Construction Media Alliance (CMA). One for Publisher Keith Gribbins’ Editor at Large column and another for Best Single Issue! We’re so excited that our July/August print magazine, which was dedicated to the top tech in the industry, earned us this awesome accolade. Fun fact: This was the first time we’ve won for an entire issue!

We grew our giveaway.

Last year, we launched our 12 Days of Giveaways and we were so happy to bring it back in 2023. We were beyond thrilled with the response we received from sponsors and the fact we were able to include four more days of prizes — turning the 12 days into 16!
