Weiler Hosts Inaugural National Tour Stop for ‘AEM Manufacturing Express’

Knoxville, Iowa, employer, Weiler, just announced that it will host the “Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) Manufacturing Express” inaugural event at their facility on July 1, 2024.

AEM member, Weiler, along with its employees, will be recognized as an industry leader for their contributions to the local community and manufacturing industry. In under 25 years, Weiler has grown into one of the largest employers in Knoxville and Marion County. A cutting-edge manufacturer with more than 400,000 square feet of manufacturing space, the facility is equipped with machining tools, welding, powder and wet paint and assembly, allowing Weiler to better control quality and delivery for their machine components. The company employs more than 675 in a town of 7,500.

The “AEM Manufacturing Express” will make its first stop on its national tour at Weiler. The tour covers more than 20 states with 80 stops at equipment manufacturers to showcase the cutting-edge technology and innovations that power modern equipment, as well as the innovative technologies, processes, people, and products revolutionizing this industry across America.

While the event will help spotlight Weiler, the manufacturing industry, and policies that support manufacturers, it is fundamentally a celebration with games, food and a chance to win prizes.
