VMAC recently announced the release of its highly anticipated 2024 State of the Mobile Compressed Air Industry Report, which offers fresh insights for fleet managers and service truck operators.
“We are thrilled to present VMAC’s latest research on the mobile compressed air industry,” said Tod Gilbert, President of VMAC. “This report provides business leaders with a unique perspective, empowering them to make informed decisions and achieve continued success.”
The State of the Mobile Compressed Air Industry Report is a benchmark for industry leaders, enabling them to evaluate their businesses against industry peers. This year’s survey explores critical areas such as fleets, truck classes, commercial vans, general equipment, mobile compressed air, and the current industry challenges and business impacts.
“We adapt the survey each year to reflect the most important issues impacting the mobile compressed air industry,” said Mike Pettigrew, Marketing Manager at VMAC. “The service truck industry is undeniably resilient, but each year brings new challenges.”
“While past surveys focused heavily on the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have entered a new era of concerns, including the adoption of zero-emission vehicles, rising interest rates, and labor shortages,” said Pettigrew.
Industry experts from Summit Truck Equipment, Work Truck West, Work Truck Magazine (Bobit Business Media), and VMAC also weigh in with their opinions and insights, offering valuable perspectives for readers. The 2024 report is based on responses from 271 participants surveyed between December 2023 and March 2024. These participants, representing diverse industries such as construction, equipment repair, transportation, oil & gas, and municipal infrastructure, answered 31 detailed questions.
