Ground-breaking for new Monk JCB construction equipment sales and service facility in Pinto Park, Houston.

Today, JCB commemorated the ground-breaking for Monk JCB’s new construction equipment dealership location at 11211 N. Freeway, Houston, Texas. The $8 million facility will open in the first quarter of 2020 and will exclusively sell and support JCB construction equipment.

The 10-acre site will accommodate a 13,000 square-foot building for offices and a showroom, as well as a fully equipped service department with eight service bays. Additionally, two acres of product display and demonstration areas will allow customers to test an extensive range of JCB construction machines, from skid steers and mini excavators, to backhoes loaders and telescopic handlers, to wheel loaders and large excavators.

“Construction equipment customers around Houston will be the big winners when our new, JCB-exclusive dealership opens early next year,” said Bryan Monk, dealer principal at Monk JCB. “For more than 70 years, JCB has pioneered the game-changing products that construction equipment customers have chosen to boost productivity and profits, so we’re excited to bring JCB capability, reliability and innovation to the Upper Gulf Coast.”

Monk JCB currently operates a construction equipment service operation from 3123 Farrell Road in Houston — serving Harris, Brazoria, Fort Bend and Montgomery counties — with fully trained JCB technicians offering field and shop service, as well as parts sales.

“Since Monk JCB joined the JCB dealer network, the team has provided outstanding support to equipment operators in the Houston area,” said Ben Coleman, vice president of Dealer Development for JCB North America. “It’s exciting to see the team build upon that reputation to grow into a full — and exclusive — JCB sales and support dealership.”
