Last month, Bobcat Co. officially launched its Bobcat Blog — a site where equipment experts, other individuals with Bobcat Co. and occasional guest bloggers will provide perspective on Bobcat products and their applications, markets, customers’ businesses and lifestyles, and promotions and events for the large and growing Bobcat social community. It’s all designed to help customers be more successful on jobsites and in running their businesses.
Bobcat Blog topics will include tips on equipment selection, operation, maintenance and safety; economic forecasts and general state of the industry; finding employees, marketing a business and maximizing profitability; getting the most out of equipment and attachments around acreages and farms; and details on contests and other customer-engaging activities offered by Bobcat Co. and its dealer network. Posts will be designed to appeal to all common compact equipment industries: construction, compact equipment rental, landscaping, agriculture, buildings and grounds and personal property maintenance.
“Articles and videos that provide first-person tips and perspectives have always been popular with our customers,” said Kristen Hintermeyer, Bobcat social media manager. “The Bobcat Blog will offer more of that than ever before to our customers and social audiences. Plus, we’ll give some of our customers and community members the opportunity to be guest bloggers, sharing insights and experiences with their peers. And we’ll be looking for ideas for new topics and angles so regular visitors continue to find it valuable.”
New blog posts will be added twice a week at blog.bobcat.com. The blog can also be accessed through Bobcat social channels — Facebook (facebook.com/BobcatCompany), Twitter (twitter.com/bobcatcompany) and Google+ (plus.google.com/+BobcatCo).
