BG Lift Names CMC North America Exclusive Crawler Crane Distributor

CMC North America has announced that BG Lift has selected it as its exclusive distributor for crawler crane products in North America.
Providing lifting machine solutions for more than 30 years, the Verona, Italy-based BG Lift has built a reputation for “innovative and safe compact lifting solutions,” the company says, “that operate reliably even in the most confined and challenging work environments.” This appointment of CMC marks the first time BG Lift’s products will be formally distributed in the U.S. through a designated firm, CMC officials say.
“We are thrilled to be appointed the exclusive distributor for BG Lift in the USA,” says Jeff Poggi, CEO of CMC North America. “BG Lift has a track record of designing and manufacturing high-quality mini cranes that solve many access problems on job sites. We see a growing market in the USA driven by demand from glazing, industrial, and general construction contractors; equipment rental fleets; and arbor care.
“The addition of BG Lift complements our CMC tracked aerial lift portfolio and allows us to offer customers a broader range of compact lifting solutions from a single trusted partner.”
BG Lift’s machines are available in both diesel and lithium-ion electrical configurations the company says, both of which will be coming over to North America through CMC.
Advancing CMC’s productivity
The addition of BG Lift products to CMC’s portfolio presents a massive opportunity for the company’s wider strategy, the firm says. As the New England-based firm aims to become a leading compact access and lift supplier, the new product line will provide innovation, safety, productivity, and customer jobsite performance, the company says.
“BG Lift products feature advanced technologies designed to maximize safety, precision, and productivity,” CMC officials say. “The company’s engineering philosophy combines decades of lifting experience with innovative design, in-house manufacturing, rigorous testing, and extensive customization options to deliver reliable performance in demanding applications.”
Initial inventory and demonstration BG Lift units are expected to arrive in the U.S. during Q3 2026, according to CMC North America. Customers will be able to access product demonstrations, training, and technical support, as well as a nationwide service network through CMC North America.
“We are excited to partner with CMC North America as we enter the U.S. market,” says Maurizio Piantoni, CEO of BG Lift. “They have built a strong sales, marketing, and distribution team who understand the benefits of equipment that solves access problems.”
