Moorhead, Minnesota-based Ignite Attachments has launched a new canopy attachment line for compact tractors, helping operators beat the summer heat.

The company promises elite shade and weather protection without the normal cost and complexity of a full machine cab. Officials say that despite its high levels of weather relief, a factory-installed cab seat is often more investment than the average contractor needs.

Now, Ignite Attachments is offering a more cost-effective alternative to expensive cabs with this new line of tractor canopies.

“Every product Ignite brings to market is about solving real challenges for our customers,” says Trisha Pearson, business director for Ignite Attachments. “Our new canopies provide a practical, affordable way to stay comfortable while working outdoors. That’s what Ignite is all about: listening to our customers and making it easier to get the right fit, at the right price, right now.”

The company says its canopies mount directly onto machine rollover protection structures, easily fitting onto most compact tractors. The canopies are also available in a wide variety of colors to complement modern machinery, and offer shade and coverage while still preserving “the open-air experience.”

Lightweight but reliable

The Ignite Attachments team designed the new canopy line for everyday durability, representatives say, pairing a lightweight shell with powder-coated steel mounting. The design delivers UV ray protection for operators without adding unnecessary weight — and in turn, additional fuel cost — to the machine.

The variety of colors and designs serve to match many existing popular tractor brands, the company says, giving operators a factory-inspired appearance without the factory cost.

“The adjustable mounting system allows the canopy to be leveled on forward-leaning ROPS for a secure, professional-looking installation,” the company says. “Standard mounting hardware is included for quick assembly with minimal tools, and oversized hardware kits are available for larger ROPS configurations.”

The new canopies exist in service of Ignite’s wider mission of making ownership easier than ever for compact equipment operators. The firm aims to become a one stop shop for compact tractor owners and landscaping professionals as they look to cut costs without sacrificing quality, officials say.
