Chalmers Innovations Launches a No-Hydraulics-Needed TiltPlow Attachment for Utility Tractors

Chalmers Innovations tilt plow for tractors

Chalmers Innovations, Inc., based in Castle Rock, Colorado, is set to introduce a unique tractor plow implement at the 2025 National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Kentucky. The TiltPlow is a snow plow attachment that offers a cost-effective solution to angle adjustments, without the need for expensive hydraulics. It will be on display at the show, running from February 12-15.

A New Way to Adjust Plow Angles

The TiltPlow allows snow plow operators to easily adjust the plow blade angle from the seat of their vehicle. The innovation lies in its design: the plow uses the front-end loader’s (FEL) tilt function to unlock and lock the blade’s rotation.

To adjust the blade:

  1. Free the blade rotation: Tilt the FEL forward to disengage the lock.
  2. Change the blade angle: Drive the plow forward or back while steering, or push the plow blade into a snow pile.
  3. Lock the blade in place: Tilt the FEL back to engage the lock.

The TiltPlow eliminates the need to get off the tractor or adjust hydraulics manually, making it a significant upgrade over traditional plows.

Key Features of the TiltPlow

  • No hydraulics needed: Operates using the FEL’s tilt function, saving costs on plow hydraulics.
  • Easy angle adjustments from the operator’s seat.
  • Skid steer quick attach (SSQA) compatibility.
  • Available with a 6-ft blade, with future models including 5- and 7-ft blades and John Deere quick attach (JDQA) options.
  • Simple operation with minimal effort from the operator.

Production of the TiltPlow is already underway, and units will be available for shipping by the time of the National Farm Machinery Show.

Benefits for Operators

The TiltPlow’s design offers several advantages:

  • No need for additional hydraulics or third-function plumbing.
  • No need to dismount the tractor to adjust the plow.
  • Better contour following: The plow’s design allows it to pivot on its attachment, enabling it to better follow the surface.
  • Smooth operation: The spring-loaded locking mechanism ensures the plow stays in place when the FEL is raised.
  • No impact on trip functionality, which means the plow blade still performs as expected when hitting obstacles.

More Than Just Attachments

Chalmers Light Guard

While the TiltPlow is Chalmers Innovations’ first foray into attachments, the company has a diverse range of products, from industrial tools to consumer items.

Rubber Wear Strips for Tractor and Grader Blades

Chalmers Innovations manufactures rubber wear strips that extend the life of tractor and grader blades by reducing wear during use. These durable strips protect equipment, reducing maintenance costs and downtime.

Front-End Loader Joystick Repair Kits

Chalmers also produces joystick repair kits for front-end loaders, which help operators repair joysticks efficiently and cost-effectively, eliminating the need for full replacements.

Fender Tractor Light Guards

To protect tractor lights from damage, Chalmers offers fender light guards, ensuring that equipment stays functional during demanding work in rough conditions.

AquaPurr: A Unique Solution for Cat Owners?

AquaPurr 4 and Graphic Never Clean 1920x640

Chalmers Innovations is also known for the AquaPurr, a pretty cool cat water fountain. This company does a little of everything. The product was born from a need to provide fresh, running water to cats without the hassle of weekly cleaning or replacing filters. The AquaPurr connects to most faucets and uses a motion sensor to activate water flow when the cat steps near it. This system ensures that cats always have access to clean, fresh water without any mess or maintenance.

Looking Ahead

Chalmers Innovations is committed to creating high-quality products that solve everyday problems across multiple industries. With the TiltPlow, the company has made its mark in the snow removal industry, and with products like the AquaPurr, it shows that innovation knows no bounds.
