Kioti Utility Vehicles Summarized — 2018 Spec Guide

Four Diesel UTVs Designed to Get the Job Done
Offering a variety of fully-featured, tough and reliable models, Kioti utility vehicles are designed to get the job done. Building on the company’s core product line and history, Kioti has continued to expand its utility vehicle (UTV) offering since introducing the Mechron 2200 UTV in 2011. From the K9 to the Mechron, Kioti utility vehicles are workhorses that can pull, tow and haul with ease.
A smooth ride even on the roughest terrain, all four Kioti UTV models — Mechron 2200, Mechron 2200PS, Mechron 2240 and K9 2400 — are designed to get the job done, says the company. With a tight turning radius, excellent payload and towing capabilities and the widest cargo beds in their class, Kioti says its UTVs are built for work and fun. All powered by a Daedong diesel engine, continuously variable transmission and a time-proven Daedong gearbox with two speeds (Hi/Lo), Kioti UTVs translate power into performance.
In 2018, Kioti introduced the K9 Series with the K9 2400. A landowner’s best friend, the K9 has a 24-hp, three-cylinder, in-line vertical, water-cooled diesel engine with a ground speed up to 31 mph. The K9 2400 offers an enhanced level of performance, operator comfort and one of the largest all metal beds in its class with an impressive 1,102-lb capacity, 1,598-lb payload capacity and an independent dual A-arm front and rear suspension.
Each model in the Mechron Series offers customers a diverse range of features suitable for work or play. With standard four-wheel drive and 22 hp, three-cylinder diesel engines, they deal a combination of power and agility while sporting a cargo bed capable of carrying over 1,100 lbs of capacity, making transporting heavy items a breeze. Further showcasing the series’ unparalleled stability and aggressive off-road capabilities are wide track 12-in. wheels, 25-in. tires and 12 in. of ground clearance which allow users to navigate any environment with precision.
All of the models have standard rear hitch receivers enabling users to attach implements with ease. A wide range of accessories are available for all Kioti UTV models including a sun canopy, rear screen kit, windshield, work lights and fog lights. To make work easier, users can opt for the hydraulic dump kit on any model. A field cab is also an available option on some models.
Headquartered in Wendell, N.C., Kioti Tractor, a division of Daedong-USA Inc., is a market-driven company that has been supplying tractor models in the 22- to 110-hp range to the U.S. and Canadian markets for more than 30 years. Kioti has recently introduced new tractor and utility vehicle models and expanded its implement and attachment offering to its dealer and customer network across North America.
Advice to Buyers
“Utility vehicles are built to take people where conventional vehicles can’t go,” says Joel Hicks, senior product support manager for Kioti Tractor. “From strong functionality like pulling, hauling and towing to fun outdoor activities with your family — UTVs offer it all. Customers should talk to their dealers about how they plan to use these hard-working machines and be ready to start having experiences they never thought possible.”
