Hyundai Unveils the 9-Ton HX90A Compact Excavator to its Lineup

This week, the HX90A — HD Hyundai Construction Equipment North America‘s new 9-ton compact excavator — is making its North American debut at The ARA Show. The new machine is designed to deliver robust performance and offer exceptional power and fuel efficiency. Powered by a 65-hp Yanmar engine, the HX90A weighs in at 20,040 lbs and provides operators with the right balance of strength and fuel economy. All this makes the HX90A ideal for digging and trenching in a wide range of jobsite applications.
From the press release:
“Like other Hyundai equipment, the HX90A excavator is packed with standard features that operators and owners will appreciate,” said Julio Vargas, compact equipment product manager, HD Hyundai Construction Equipment North America. “Key features of the HX90A compact excavator include an all-weather steel cab with 360-degree visibility, a heated suspension seat, a dozer blade, an optional angle blade, a hydraulic quick coupler with integrated lifting hook and five years of Hi MATE telematics. Additionally, the four-way hydraulics allow users to mount multiple attachments without the hassle of switching hydraulic lines.”
On top of those impressive features, the HX90A is covered by HD Hyundai’s three-year, 3,000-hour warranty, plus a five-year, 10,000-hour structural warranty.
“The combination of more standard features and Hyundai’s industry-leading warranty provides real peace of mind while keeping value high and owning and operating costs low,” said Dale McLemore, director of sales, HD Hyundai Construction Equipment North America.
If you’re heading to The ARA Show, the Hyundai HX90A will be on display at the Fecon booth (#1765), equipped with a Fecon SMX36 excavator mulch head.
