JCB Compact Equipment Innovations Will Be on Display at 2017 GIE+EXPO
JCB recently announced that the 3TS-8T Teleskid and 48Z-1 compact excavator will be on display at the 2017 GIE+EXPO in Louisville, Kentucky, from October 19-20 (this week!). JCB will also debut its 210T compact track loader, the latest in the company’s range of skid steers and compact track loaders that are designed and manufactured in the United States.
Additionally, visitors to the JCB booth (#5840D) will be eligible to receive a $500 rebate voucher for any of the JCB models on display at the show.
Randy Tinley, JCB product manager for skid steer and compact track loaders, described the alignment of JCB product capabilities with the needs of landscaping contractors. “The JCB machines on display at the 2017 GIE+EXPO provide the power, performance and reliability that landscapers demand. The Teleskid, in particular, is a game-changer, allowing operators to lift higher, reach further and dig deeper than with any other skid steer on the market,” he said.
The JCB Teleskid is a revolutionary new product that can lift over 13 feet, reach eight feet forward, and — in an industry first — it is the only skid steer in the world that can dig below grade to a depth of three feet. Teleskid is also the only skid steer to combine vertical and radial lift capability in a single machine and features a unique system to set and maintain the bucket level throughout the boom’s range of movement.
Another highlight on the JCB booth will be the debut of 210T radial lift compact track loader. Designed to offer the power and capability of a large skid steer in a small skid steer platform, the JCB 210T is powered by the proven 74 hp (55 kW) JCB Diesel by Kohler engine, requiring no DPF and no DEF. The 210T features JCB’s unique single boom and side entry design and has a rated operating capacity (ROC) of 2,471 lb (1,120 kg) in standard configuration or 2,595 lb (1,117 kg) with an optional dealer-fit counterweight package. A similarly capable vertical lift model, the 215T, is now also available and has an ROC of 2,795 lb (1,267 kg) in standard configuration or 2,839 lb (1,287 kg) with the optional counterweight package. Both the 210T and the 215T are capable of operating high flow attachments up to 30 gallons per minute.
Also expected to draw attention is the JCB 48Z-1 compact excavator. This zero-tail-swing machine boasts a JCB Diesel by Kohler engine that produces 48 hp (36kW) and 166 ft-lb (225Nm) of torque. A fully bushed dig end with 500-hour greasing intervals reduces downtime and daily maintenance, cutting total cost of ownership for the customer and increasing productivity.
