Peep These Two New Five-Piece Kits from Makita, Expanding Its XGT Tool System

Makita U.S.A. Inc., manufacturer of high-quality professional tools, power equipment, and accessories, has released two new five-piece kits to the expanding XGT system of equipment and tools. Both kits offer users an ideal combination of tools for drilling, driving, fastening, and cutting.

XGT: One System of Cordless Equipment and Tools
These new five-piece kits are part of Makita XGT, an expanding system of 40V max and 80V max cordless equipment and tools. XGT gives users one system, from core handheld tools like drills and impact drivers to equipment-grade products including high-capacity saws, rotary hammers, and power cutters — all powered by 40V max XGT batteries. The expanding XGT System will offer 125+ products in 2024.
GT500M: Includes the 40V max XGT 1/2″ Hammer Driver-Drill (GPH01Z), the 40V max XGT 4-Speed Impact Driver (GDT01Z), the 40V max XGT Recipro Saw (GRJ01Z), the 40V max XGT Rear Handle 7-1/4” Circular Saw (GSR01Z), and the 40V max XGT L.E.D. Flashlight (ML001G).
GT501M: Includes the 40V max XGT 1/2″ Hammer Driver-Drill (GPH01Z), the 40V max XGT 4-Speed Impact Driver (GDT01Z), the 40V max XGT Recipro Saw (GRJ01Z), the 40V max XGT 7-1/4″ Circular Saw, AWS Capable (GSH01Z) and the 40V max XGT L.E.D. Flashlight (ML001G).

Both kits feature tools from the XGT system with standout features like brushless motors for increased power and 40V XGT 4.0Ah batteries (BL4040), that reach full power in only 45 minutes utilizing the 40V max XGT Rapid Optimum Charger (DC40RA).
Convenience Features
All tools in the GT500M Kit and the GT501M Kit feature Makita-built brushless motors for more performance and longer motor life. The tools and XGT 40V batteries utilize digital communication which optimizes performance and provides up to 2X longer sustained power under heavy-load applications.
