Wacker Neuson Premium Generators
Wacker Neuson’s complete line of premium portable generators deliver tool starting and voltage regulation in a rugged, compact package. Nine high performance models in the series are available ranging from 2,500 to 6,600 watts and weights between 95 and 206 lbs. Various models are also offered with electric start, wheel kits and Honda engines. Six models ranging from 3,800 to 6,600 watts feature a central ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) system for all receptacles including 120V- and 240V-twist locks. Wacker Neuson’s GFCI is UL approved and meets National Electronic Code (NEC) requirements for jobsites. Unlike most contractor-grade generators, Wacker Neuson’s GFCI sensor offers protection to operators no matter which receptacle is being used by monitoring all outlets for current leakage and tripping the main circuit breaker in the event of a current leak. wackerneuson.us
Atlas Copco Tier 4 Final QAS 25/50
Atlas Copco Portable Energy’s new 60-Hz QAS 25 and QAS 50 generators for heavy-duty applications are the first Tier 4 Final units to be launched by Atlas Copco. They use an Isuzu 4LE engine and a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) to achieve Tier 4 Final emissions levels. Both the QAS 25 and QAS 50 have a silenced enclosure design to ensure low noise levels for use in residential or other noise-sensitive locations. The large fuel tanks allow extended run times. The 110 percent spillage-free frame comes standard to help safeguard the site and protect the environment. DeepSea controls and a Leroy Somer AREP alternator ensure easy operation of the generator in a range of heavy-duty applications. The two new models both use the same basic engine, enclosure and controls. As a result, rental companies and dealers that have both models in their fleet need to stock fewer spare parts, including air and oil filters. atlascopco.com
Kohler Gaseous Generator
Kohler’s new mobile gaseous generator, now available in 50-, 70- and 125-kVA nodes, is ideal for powering large equipment in remote locations and built to the company’s highest standards for durability and reliability. These units feature innovative on-board fuel tanks for run times of up to 24 hours and can easily switch to external natural gas, LP or LP Gas. Liquid propane burns cleaner, so these mobile units produce fewer toxins and less carbon monoxide and flashes to vapor at atmospheric pressure, which reduces the risk of accidents from fuel spills. The 125-kVA unit has been in production since spring, and the 50- and 70-kVA units are available for order. The units are EPA-certified for prime applications and are eligible for incentives of $1,000 to $8,500 through the Propane Education and Research Council. They can be customized with optional cam-locks and a voltage selector switch. kohlerpower.com
Honda’s EB2000i Generator
The Honda EB2000i, 2,000-watt portable generator is equipped with features vital to the industrial and construction generator market Based on the extremely popular consumer EU2000i generator model, the new EB2000i maintains key attributes of the EU series unit while adding new design enhancements, such as a 120V/20A GFCI receptacle, providing greater flexibility for use at worksites. The Honda EB2000i offers inverter power with a rated maximum output of 1,600/2,000 watts with the Honda fuel-efficient Eco-Throttle.
