bauma China Takes Over Shanghai, Nov 25-28
Sany is one of many great Chinese construction equipment brands that are “transforming” the international machinery market.
The seventh edition of bauma China, the International Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Construction Vehicles and Equipment, will take place at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) between November 25 and 28. Despite the current downturn in the Chinese economy, there are still many building projects in the People’s Republic which have an enormous investment volume.
By registering in advance (at www.bauma-china.com/en/visitors/register), visitors can secure their fast-track — and free — ticket. After successful registration, visitors receive a confirmation e-mail which they can exchange for a ticket at the specially setup express counters at the venue. This significantly shortens waiting times at the exhibition center.
And time is of the essence at bauma China. After all, the show will be taking up a total of 300,000 square meters at the SNIEC. Collin Davis, exhibition group director at Messe München, is happy to report: “As of today more than 2,800 companies from 38 countries have signed up to exhibit. That’s already more than at the last bauma China. Also, we are again seeing a high level of interest from international participants.”
At the current time, the Top 5 exhibiting countries, after China, are Germany (204), the United States (102), Italy (100), Korea (76) and Japan (52). The last event broke all records: With 2,718 exhibitors from 38 countries, 177,080 visitors from 141 countries and 3,200,000 square ft of exhibition space, bauma China delivered impressive proof of its status as the biggest and most important sector event in Asia. Although the pace of growth of the Chinese market is slower than previous years, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is still predicting GDP there to expand by 7.3 percent in 2014. This positive picture is not without impact on the situation, especially in regards to applications to exhibit at bauma China.
