World of Concrete Preview and Product Showcase

The Largest U.S. Commercial Construction Trade Fair in 2015 (Feb. 3-6)

World of Concrete is the only annual international commercial construction trade show for the concrete and masonry industries, and during non-CONEXPO-CON/AGG years, it is the biggest and one of the best construction equipment trade shows in the world. This year, World of Concrete (WOC) expects to attract more than 50,000 concrete and masonry professionals and showcase 1,300 leading suppliers in more than 600,000 sq ft of exhibit space.

WOC will feature exhibitors from around the world, exhibiting in special product and action areas including: The Producer Center, a marketplace of materials, equipment, demos and seminars for concrete producers; Material Handling, offering trucks, excavators and more for material delivery, distribution, concrete placement and earth moving; Concrete Repair & Demolition, housing a display of surface preparation equipment, scarifying, sawing equipment, concrete repair and other demolition products; and World of Masonry, showcasing products, tools, information and technology for masonry professionals.

Visit WOC and enjoy the outdoor exhibits and demonstration areas where attendees can see equipment and technology in action. This high-energy, high-impact area lets attendees test products under real jobsite conditions — giving them the knowledge they need to make educated purchasing decisions. Popular returning and brand-new events include the MCAA’s Masonry Skills Challenge, Western Star Tough Site Challenge, the Spec Mix Bricklayer 500 World Championship, Self-Leveling LIVE!, Safe Room Showcase, The Hoover Dam & Bypass Bridge Tour and the 2015 CIM Auction, just to name a few.

The World of Concrete Education Program features targeted 90-minute and three-hour sessions within targeted tracks such as Business Leadership and Management, Concrete Production, Concrete Repair, Decorative Concrete and Engineering. With more than 50 percent brand new sessions, WOC 2015 will offer more than 100 expert-led sessions, including interactive workshops such as Train-the-Trainer, Boot Camps for Field Leaders and OSHA 10-Hour Safety, plus hands-on training opportunities for laying concrete masonry block, placing and finishing floors, surveying, stamped concrete and concrete repairs.

World of Concrete 2015 will once again present the Crews that Rock Contest, now in its fourth successful year, sponsored by BASF, to honor crew members for their teamwork and contributions to the industry. The two winning crews will receive a trip to WOC 2015, as well as other prizes in addition to widespread industry recognition. Be a part of the excitement and vote online at www.crewsthatrock.com. Case TR310 Compact Track LoaderCase TR310 Compact Track Loader
The new Tier 4 Final TR310 Alpha Series compact track loader from Case features wider tracks (15.75 in.), a greater overall width (74.3 in.) and lower ground pressure (5 psi) than other medium-frame compact track loaders in the Case lineup. These features provide greater power, stability and flotation for owners/operators who need that performance without upgrading to a large-frame machine. The new TR310 weighs in at 8,800 lbs with a rated operating capacity of 3,100 lbs and a bucket breakout force of 8,680 lbs. The machine’s 74-hp, 232 ft-lbs of torque and increased hydraulic flow (standard: 24.2 gpm; high-flow: 32.4 gpm) make it ideal for construction applications. The TR310 features a CEGR engine with a particulate matter catalyst. For more info, visit booth C5948 or casece.com.

Terex R190T Compact Track LoaderTerex R190T Compact Track Loader
The 60-hp Terex R190T radial-lift path compact track loader offers operators 140 ft-lbs of peak torque, a tipping load of 3,800 lbs — with 1,900 lbs at 35 percent of tipping load capacity (2,714-lbs operating capacity at 50 percent tipping load) — and a lift height of 115 in. for powerful production in digging and grading applications. The radial-lift path configuration on the R190T excels in ground engaging tasks because of weight distribution between the wheels. The weight distribution on a radial-lift path is almost an even split between the front and rear tires, improving tractive effort and giving the unit better cutting edge pressure. Operating the R190T unit is easy with pilot-operated joystick controls and a load-sensing hydraulic system that helps prevent engine stalls. For more info, visit terex.com.
