Been wanting to drop you a note for some time about how wonderful Compact Equipment is and how much I enjoy it. About 18 months ago I knew nothing about compact equipment, other than I knew I needed a different piece of equipment for my farm. I had a Kubota L4060 HSTC tractor for a few years and was frustrated by it not being the right tool for what I needed to be done on my 60-acre farm, of which about 1/3 was woods.
Somehow, I came across your magazine and subscribed to it hoping that maybe I’d find a better approach. Turned out to be the smartest thing I could have done. Your articles were both in depth and easy to understand, even for a novice like myself. I would read each issue cover to cover, turning down pages and underlining key points you were making. Eventually, I concluded that what I needed was a compact track loader. You did a couple of issues on that topic and reviewed the equipment that was on the market. These articles helped me immeasurably, giving me the knowledge I needed to make an informed decision.
A few months ago, I purchased a Kubota 75-3, along with five implements and I couldn’t be happier. It turns out it is the perfect piece of equipment for all my needs. Your overviews, explanations, analyses and photos were what brought me to that purchase decision, and I thank you for that. What I enjoy is that each issue feels like it was written specifically for me. I look forward to its arrival and learn something new every time a fresh issue arrives. Keep up your great work!
