Wacker Neuson entered the compact tool carrier market in 2022. This product category was a natural extension to the construction equipment manufacturer’s growing line of material handling equipment. The first model introduced, the SM100, was designed, engineered and is now produced at the company’s Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, facility. Market acceptance for the SM100 has exceeded the company’s expectation and has become one of Wacker Neuson’s most successful introductions in its 67-year history in North America. In 2023, the SM60 and SM120 were added to the line, creating a family of versatile stand-on loaders that are ideal for a variety of applications.

Wacker Neuson’s utility track loaders are designed with a variety of operator comfort features and offer a durable, low maintenance design to reduce maintenance costs and total cost of ownership. The SM60 is the smallest utility track loader offered by Wacker Neuson and is ideal for rental and homeowner applications. It is powered by a 26.5-hp Kohler gasoline engine, which is easy to start, fuel efficient and easy to service. The SM60 is designed for small DIY jobs with 7-in. wide tracks and an overall machine width of 35.5 in.

Wacker Neuson Utility Track Loader Lineup Summary

The SM100 is the flagship machine for Wacker Neuson’s line and is powered by a 24.7-hp Yanmar turbocharged diesel engine. The standard 9-in. wide tracks provide low ground pressure, reducing turf disturbance and repair work. Its overall machine width of 35.5 in. fits through doorways, gates and other tight spaces. The optimized radial path provides vertical-lift performance with a hinge pin height of 85.7 in. This is ideal for dumping into high sided trucks and has the reach for loading beds.

The SM120, the largest model in the series, is designed for the professional who needs to lift, move and place more during their landscape, tree service and set work. The 41-in. wide machine is equipped with class-leading 11-in. wide tracks. These provide ultra-low ground pressure to greatly reduce turf disturbance while also enhancing traction and stability for hill operation. The SM120 is also available with a package of industry-leading features to enhance the machine’s productivity. The QuickGrip proportional auxiliary hydraulic controls mounted on the grip allow the driver to operate all three controls simultaneously to reduce cycle times. The SM120 is the first machine in this class to feature ride control. This provides hydraulic cushioning to the lift arms, reducing material spillage and providing a smoother ride.

Completing the productivity package is the 14-pin attachment control that offers enhanced controllability for complex hydraulic attachments such as snowblowers.
