Volvo Construction Equipment has launched a blog, called The Scoop, aimed at construction professionals interested in getting expert information on equipment, business operations and emerging technologies.
“We started The Scoop to share the wealth of expertise found within Volvo with the rest of the construction industry,” said John Johnston, director of digital marketing at Volvo Construction Equipment. “Regardless of what brands of equipment you run, we want The Scoop to be a place where construction equipment professionals can turn for information that will help them in their daily lives. Recent posts have included wheel loader maintenance tips, how to improve excavator fuel efficiency and how excessive machine idling affects profits.”
Written by a core group of experienced product managers and segment experts at Volvo, the blog posts focus on four categories:
