Trimble Opens 2025 Construction Innovation Awards to North American Users

Trimble Construction Innovation Awards 2025

There’s a New Category for Tekla BIM Projects. Entry Deadline is August 22.

Trimble has opened applications for its 2025 Construction Innovation Awards. Interested participants can submit entries here. This annual program recognizes outstanding use of Trimble technology across architecture, engineering and construction workflows. For Compact Equipment readers — especially contractors using machines like compact track loaders and mini excavators — it’s a strong opportunity to showcase your work. The awards are open to North American users of any Trimble solution, including machine control systems, Tekla software and GNSS tools.

Why Compact Equipment Pros Should Apply

Trimble

Trimble systems are being used more and more on compact machines. From compact track loaders equipped with Siteworks to mini excavators using tilt bucket guidance, small machine users are making big strides with digital tools. If you’ve used Trimble to grade faster, work safer or cut rework, this is your chance to get recognized. Winners receive a free pass to the Trimble Dimensions User Conference, November 10-12 in Las Vegas. The event offers hands-on training, tech previews and networking with Trimble insiders and industry peers.

Award Categories

Applicants can enter one of five categories:

  • Connected Construction — how two or more integrated Trimble solutions achieved quality, productivity, efficiency or other benefits beyond what one solution could provide on its own
  • Process Transformation — how Trimble technology enabled a company to improve a specific architecture, engineering or construction workflow or process
  • Most Challenging Project — essential contributions of Trimble technology to the success of a particularly challenging or unique project
  • Workforce Achievement — personal aspects of Trimble technology and how it attracts good people and inspires them to do great things, including recognition of individual technology “changemakers”
  • Best Tekla BIM Project — use of Tekla BIM modeling on a project in North America, including exceptional challenges addressed and performance improvements achieved

To enter, applicants must explain the challenge they faced, the Trimble solution used and the measurable results achieved. Metrics matter — think time saved, errors avoided or cubic yards moved. Submit entries here: https://forms.gle/jG5kHuSdA6wCzoAk8

Deadline and Judging

Submissions are due by August 22, 2025. A panel of Trimble experts will review the applications and select winners in early September.

Trimble Tech Expands for Compact Machines

Trimble has rolled out several new tools in the last year, many designed for compact construction equipment:

  • Siteworks Machine Guidance for Tilt Buckets — This module gives operators full in-cab visibility of their tilt bucket’s cutting edge. It improves precision on complex grading and slope work.
  • Siteworks for CTLs — In a recent Machine Heads video interview (above!), Trimble broke down how Siteworks transforms compact track loaders into grading pros. The system offers 3D machine guidance and flexibility across jobsites.
  • Earthworks GO — This 2D system helps small crews tackle driveways and pads quickly with just a phone and laser receiver.

These systems are simple to install and can move between machines. That’s key for fleet flexibility and jobsite efficiency.

Submit Your Story

Trimble’s 2025 Construction Innovation Awards are more than a marketing showcase. They highlight real project wins made possible by smart technology. Compact Equipment readers are using these tools every day — now’s your chance to tell the industry how.
