Pyramex Unveils All New Hi-Vis Type R Class 3 Work Wear Line
Pyramex Safety recently announced its new winter 2018 Hi-vis Type R Class 3 work wear line. Whether on the tarmac, the street or railways, rest assured you will stay both warm and visible with these highly functional and comfortable winter wear pieces designed by a company solely focused on personal protective equipment. Pyramex Hi-vis work wear has been independently tested for various standards and certifications including ANSI and CSA, and offers products constructed of high-quality materials designed for practical use.
Pyramex offers eight different series of Hi-vis work wear in its new winter line to suit virtually any need and keep workers warm on the job. Among them is the RPB36 Series, which features a weatherproof hi-vis rip-stop lining that is Teflon treated for additional durability. Elastic bands at the wrist and a concealed detachable hood with drawstring and slack keep rain and wind out. A dual zipper front closure with a hook and loop storm flap, heat-sealed seams and a drawstring waist all work together for additional protection against the cold. Other features include a badge lanyard, d-ring hook, two mic tabs and seven outer and five inner pockets to keep everything you need on your person. The inner jacket is made of hi-vis lime polyester fleece and has 2-in. non-connected silver reflective material, elastic wrists and a drawstring around the bottom. The inner jacket is designed with two outer and two inner pockets.
Similarly, the RC7P35 Parka Series (with seven wearable options) has an inner and outer jacket and features many of the same important design elements. The outer parka reverses from hi-vis orange to all black for superior versatility, while the inner jacket’s detachable sleeves enable it to double as a vest. A heavy-duty zipper front closure with a snap storm flap shields you from the cold while side zippers allow for greater range of motion. Snaps hold the inner jacket in place. The parka includes three outer and three inner pockets including an inner and outer cell phone pocket. The inner jacket is made with waterproof hi-vis orange polyester material with black on the bottom and at the cuff and can be reversed from hi-vis orange to black. The inner jacket also has two inner and two outer pockets, a heavy-duty front closure and converts to a vest with removable zip-out elastic sleeves.
For a lightweight option, chose from the RCLTS31 Series long sleeve t-shirt lineup, which comes in three colors and includes a chest pocket for storage. The t-shirt is manufactured from moisture wicking hi-vis polyester that promotes breathability for all day cooling comfort. All parkas, jackets, sweatshirts and t-shirts come in sizes medium through 5XL.
