Bobcat’s Philanthropy in 2024 Has Been Most Impressive

Keep ND Clean Bobcat's Philanthropy in 2024

Bobcat has definitely made the nice list in 2024. It’s truly getting hard to keep up with the company’s philanthropy. Luckily, we have a website! Here are some recent examples. In October, Bobcat announced it had donated like $885,000 in equipment to support disaster relief efforts via the Salvation Army. Of course, we always love the Bobcat Park and Rec Makeover Contest, which was worth $100,000 this year. There’s those partner grants from Bobcat and the National Recreation and Park Association, and it doesn’t stop there, folks. Here are some other cool Bobcat giving projects that we wanted to recognize. Big props to Bobcat’s philanthropy in 2024.

Doosan Bobcat Community Days

This fall, Bobcat employees across the globe, including across North America, volunteered to support their local communities. They participated in the bi-annual Doosan Bobcat Community Days, a company-wide effort focused on giving back. So far this year, over 1,350 employees have volunteered more than 5,600 hours. Their efforts supported nearly 100 community projects across Doosan Bobcat’s global footprint, showcasing the power of collective action.

From the press release:

“Just as Doosan Bobcat’s teams are committed to empowering customers and each other to accomplish more, we are also committed to building stronger communities and a better tomorrow,” said Scott Park, Doosan Bobcat CEO and vice chairman. “By volunteering our time and talents, our employees around the world continue to make an impact on the communities where we live and work.”

Employee volunteers engaged in activities like picking up roadside litter, planting trees and helping nonprofits with landscaping and facility tasks. For many projects, they used Bobcat equipment — like compact loaders, excavators, tractors and mowers — to simplify tough jobs and boost productivity. Philanthropy plays a crucial role in creating strong, connected communities. Initiatives like Doosan Bobcat Community Days remind us that businesses have the power to make a difference. By contributing time and resources, companies help improve lives and inspire a spirit of generosity in others.

Bobcat Fall Giving Campaign

Bobcat and its employees also recently wrapped up its fall giving campaign. This project meant donating more than $189,000 to 139 nonprofit organizations across the United States. That’s pretty impressive. Through this initiative, Bobcat supported employees by matching their donations dollar for dollar (up to $3,000 per person). This further amplifies employees’ generosity toward eligible, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations.

From the press release:

“It is our mission to empower people, and being a good neighbor in our communities is part of our commitment and culture,” Park continued. “We ensure our employees have the support and time to give back because making a difference in the world starts at home.”

Bobcat’s Philanthropy Will Continue in 2025
