Volvo President Discusses His Company’s Commitment to North America

If you haven’t heard, Volvo’s been going through some big changes. The company recently consolidated its North American operations, shutting down its Ashville manufacturing plant. It also recently dropped its in-house skid steer line, turning to JCB to custom manufacture new one-armed, Robot-style skid steers and track loaders for its venerated Volvo brand. All these transactions have risen more than a few eyebrows about the company’s future plans in North America. Recently, Göran Lindgren, president and CEO of Volvo Construction Equipment North America, talks to employees and dealers about Volvo Construction Equipment’s commitment to the North American market. – Keith Gribbins
