New Holland Compact Wheel Loaders Summarized — 2019 Spec Guide

Two Loaders Ready to Work on Almost Any Jobsite

From digging and loading to material handling and snow pushing, New Holland compact wheel loaders are versatile and robust workhorses. Compact wheel loaders combine the load height and lift capacity of a tractor loader with the maneuverability and versatility of a skid loader. The high cab offers excellent visibility while the articulated steering allows for surprising maneuverability for a larger machine.

New Holland offers two models, the W50C and W80C. The W50C can be configured as a tool carrier or Z-bar depending on application needs. The W80C features a high-speed option for even greater productivity. Both loaders are equipped with four-cylinder Tier 4 Final engines, delivering 55 hp on the W50C and 70 hp on the W80C. Furthermore, hydrostatic transmissions reduce noise while providing dependable power and consistency. Unlike other loader styles, compact wheel loaders enjoy increased fuel efficiency as they do not need to operate at or near full throttle to maximize lift capacity and breakout force. Additionally, tire wear is minimized due to steering by articulation versus “skidding” — lowering the overall ownership cost of a compact wheel loader.

As with skid loaders, these compact wheel loaders are available with multiple linkages, optional hydraulic couplers and myriad attachment options. Other standard features on both models include adjustable suspension seat, tilted steering column, reverse alarm, turn signals and external rearview mirrors. Loader control is through a single lever hydraulic control featuring float and an auxiliary function roller. Bucket pins are oil-impregnated, and the engine access compartment allows easy access to cartridge filters for fuel, engine oil, HST oil and hydraulic oil.

Compact wheel loaders feature high ground clearance and a long wheel base for comfortable and stable operation. The cab height allows for greater visibility for jobsite command and overall safety. Optional ride control reduces operator fatigue by providing a smooth ride over bumpy terrain while reducing material spillage — saving time and money. The return-to-dig feature makes routine V-pattern loading more productive by reducing operator steps and drain on hydraulic load. Standard front and rear differential locks increase traction in poor conditions. Both models offer extended service intervals for fluids and filters, and key maintenance points are at ground-level for safe and easy machine upkeep.

New Holland’s compact wheel loaders are used everywhere from farms to warehousing yards to construction sites. The versatility and performance, low operating cost and ease of operation of a New Holland compact wheel loader demonstrates just how impactful these machines can be as part of a working fleet.
