Mahindra Launches 12th Military Salute Giveaway Featuring New Roxor Independence Edition

Roxor Independence Edition to Honor U.S. Military Service Members
Mahindra Ag North America (MAgNA) has officially kicked off its 12th annual Mahindra Military Salute Giveaway. The announcement came during a live segment on “Fox & Friends,” just ahead of Flag Day and the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army. This year’s giveaway features a limited-run Roxor Independence Edition. U.S. military veterans, active-duty service members and reservists can enter through July 26 at MahindraSweeps.com. The winner will be announced on August 26. From the press release:
“A deeply ingrained part of Mahindra’s purpose is to give back to the community. U.S. Flag Day and this special 250th anniversary of the Army are the perfect time to launch our 12th annual Military Salute Giveaway,” Popli told Fox & Friends host Lawrence Jones. “We designed this Roxor Independence Edition to recognize the importance of our service members who sacrifice so much for our freedom.”
About the Giveaway

The Mahindra Military Salute Giveaway began over a decade ago. Each year, the company awards one deserving military member with a piece of Mahindra equipment. In 2025, the prize is a special-edition Roxor built to honor the armed forces. This Roxor Independence Edition comes with a patriotic hood design and Mahindra’s signature heavy-duty off-road build. It’s available in limited quantities through select Mahindra dealers.
A Look at the Roxor
The Mahindra Roxor is an off-road-only utility vehicle assembled in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Its design is rooted in a 70-year-old legacy that traces back to a license Mahindra received from Willys in 1947. Since then, Mahindra has built military and civilian off-road vehicles based on the original Jeep CJ platform. The Roxor entered the U.S. market in 2018 as a side-by-side (SxS) UTV. Though it resembles early military Jeeps, it’s classified for off-highway use only.

Built for Tough Terrain

The Roxor’s 5:38 axle ratio delivers high torque to the ground, making it well-suited for climbing, towing and hauling. Mahindra outfits the Roxor with skid plates, open differentials and optional lockers for improved off-road traction. While it may not be street legal in many areas, its off-road capabilities rival anything in the utility segment. The platform is often compared to Polaris Ranger and Honda Pioneer models but offers a steel-heavy construction and military-inspired history.
Assembly and Availability
Mahindra assembles the Roxor in Michigan using a mix of imported and U.S.-sourced components. The frame, engine and body are built in India, while final assembly and paint occur in Auburn Hills. The Roxor is sold through powersports and utility equipment dealers across the United States. Availability and pricing may vary by region.
