Curtis Industries Introduces Half-Door Kits and A/C Systems for Kubota Utility Vehicles
Curtis Industries LLC has released half-door kits and air conditioning systems for Kubota full-size diesel utility vehicles. These products — which are in stock and available through local Kubota dealers — were engineered to enhance comfort and safety.
“Operators shouldn’t have to choose between performance and comfort,” said David Breault, director of sales & marketing at Curtis Industries LLC. “While these products are designed for different applications, both the half-door and A/C solutions extend the versatility of Kubota’s full-size utility vehicles, making every season more productive.”
Half Door Kits
The Curtis half-door kits are ideal for operators who want protection from debris while still maintaining accessibility. They are available for various Kubota UTVs, including:
- RTV-X
- RTV-X Crew
- RTV-X Long Bed
- RTV-X1140
- RTV-X1130
- RTV-X1120
- RTV-X900
The company said this design encourages safe operation by keeping legs inside the vehicle, which is a requirement for many rental and construction environments.

Manufactured with durable, powder-coated aluminum, the doors are both lightweight and resilient, with a corrosion-resistant finish built to withstand daily use. They open wide to ensure smooth entry and exit, while the robust latching system keeps operators secure. Each kit installs seamlessly via existing mounting locations and easy adapters, eliminating the need for drilling or cutting. Users can easily switch between single- and two-row configurations without removing the doors. Together, these features make the Curtis half-door kit a durable solution that enhances safety and productivity.
Air Conditioning Kits
The new Curtis air conditioning kit is the perfect solution for operators seeking year-round climate control. According to the press release, these kits bring true automotive-style comfort to Kubota UTVs. They’re engineered for a handful of models, which include the RTV-X Crew, RTV-X Crew Huntsman Package, RTV-X Long Bed, RTV-X1140 and RTV-X1130.
Curtis said this system works as a new installation or a retrofit and features a premium engine-driven compressor. Operators can breathe easy thanks to the kit’s built-in air filtration system that removes dust, pests, pollen and other particles during recirculation. It’s constructed with lightweight, laser-welded aluminum and is powder coated for durability.
The company noted that each complete kit is sold separately from the cab enclosure and includes:
- a roof
- integrated roof-mounted blower
- vents
- adjustable temperature control unit
- upgraded alternator
- compressor
- belts
- all of the necessary hardware for an efficient installation
