SharpGrade Launches GS130 Precision Grader Blade in U.S. Market

Construction equipment supplier SharpGrade has launched its flagship GS130 Precision Grader Blade for the U.S. market, following its debut earlier this month at this year’s CONEXPO-CON/AGG trade show.
The GS130 is purpose-built for high horsepower, large frame skid steers and compact track loaders between 100 and 135 horsepower, which makes up one of the fastest growing sectors in the CTL market as a whole. The company says these high-horsepower machines are “bridging the gap between conventional skid steers and small dozers.”
“Designed for demanding applications including roading maintenance, civil construction, and large-scale pad preparation, the GS130 delivers accuracy, productivity, and reliability where it matters most,” the company says. “Its Zero Cross Coupling system ensures precise blade control without the compromises of traditional center-pivot designs, while the robust patent pending side-shift and pitch system eliminates common wear points found in conventional grader attachments.”
Advertised as “one attachment, two and a half machines,” the GS130 aims to combine the bulk material handling and trimming capabilities of a normal six-way dozer blade with the “finishing precision” of dedicated road graders.
Thanks to that formula, SharpGrade’s recent machine unveiling was a huge success, the company says.
A successful debut
The response during CONEXPO-CON/AGG “exceeded expectations,” according to a spokesperson from the company.
“Contractors immediately recognized the GS130 as a genuine alternative to multiple, larger, more expensive machines,” the company says. “Seeing that interest translate into orders from all corners of the world and then backing it up with strong field performance and technology validation in Arizona confirms we’ve delivered something the market has been waiting for.”
Following its CONEXPO debut in Las Vegas, the GS130 went to Arizona for a real-world field validation test, the company says. The machine was paired with a Kubota SVL97-3 compact track loader equipped with new sensor technology, and “demonstrated exceptional durability and consistent grading performance” in dry, dusty conditions.
The GS130 has been designed to integrate with all popular 3D machine control systems for “repeatable accuracy and improved productivity,” SharpGrade says. The machine is also compatible with the patent pending QuadGrade SimulGrade joystick control, which is scheduled for release later this year in Q3. The joystick system will provide control of all function of the machine from one central control panel.
“The successful U.S. launch marks a significant milestone for SharpGrade as it continues to expand its global footprint and deliver unique, high-performance grading solutions to contractors worldwide,” the company says.
