The AS-12 and AS-34 Offer Simple, Yet Rugged Designs
IHIMER has been manufacturing rubber tired skid steer loaders since the middle ‘90s. IHI Compact Excavator Sales was named the sole distributor for the IHIMER products in 2011. IHIMER continues to manufacture crawler dumpers, mini excavators and the new line of rubber tired skid steer loaders. The IHIMER line of rubber tired skid loaders have become a great complement to the mini excavators of IHI Compact Excavator Sales distributors.
IHIMER offers two models at this point in the AS rubber tired skid steer line, the AS-12 and AS-34. The AS-12, which is one of the smallest skid steer loaders distributed in North America, has an operating weight of 2,955 lbs and has a tipping load (50 percent) of 1,455 lbs. The AS-12 comes standard with pilot joystick controls and a universal quick-coupler. The AS-12 can also be equipped with narrow or wide tires. This micro unit has a width of 38 in. equipped with the narrow tires, allowing the entrance to most backyard gates, easily accessible. A compact tool carrier attachment plate allows the AS-12 to attach and run any made-for-stand-on tool carriers. This feature is a safer option allowing the contractor or rental customer to sit in a machine rather than standing on the back of the unit.
The AS-34 is the larger of the AS skid steer models. The AS-34 has an operating weight of 7,718 lbs and has a digging force of 6,254 lbs. The AS-34 skid steer loader is equipped with an 82.2-hp Yanmar engine, ensuring excellent performance in the most complex applications. Standard equipment on the AS-34 skid steer loader include a spacious cab, pilot joystick controls, high-flow auxiliary hydraulics, two-speed travel and a universal quick-coupler.
