BBA Pumps PT150 Wellpoint Dewatering Pumps Now Available
BBA Pumps recently launched its new PT150 piston pump for wellpoint dewatering applications combines fewer emissions with the company’s “lowest cost of ownership” philosophy.
By replacing the conventional V-belt drive system with BBA’s patented Direct Drive Design results in better suction capabilities, more pump flow and lower fuel consumption. The company claims a 10 to 14 percent increase in unit efficiency.
The PT150 with DriveOn technology offers ideal working conditions during maintenance. On top of that, the engine service interval is extended up to 1,500 running hours (instead of 500 for the standard engines) resulting in 65 percent less schedule maintenance and a 25 percent savings on engine oil.
Alongside the reduction of emissions and environmental pollution, the Super Silent PT150 is officially certified at a sound level of 48 dB(A) at 33 ft (10 m). Another environmental-friendly feature is the exhaust module, it is standard completed with a spark arrestor and fully prepared for installation of a Diesel Particulate Filter/Oxidation Catalyst.
