Kioti Tractor, a subsidiary of South Korean machinery manufacturer Daedong Industrial, has announced its new line of mini excavators, the MX Series.

Announced at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026, the new excavator products “build on Kioti’s momentum in the construction market” by following the launch of its SL750 skid steer loaders and TL750 compact track loaders in late 2023.

“Kioti developed the MX Series for the versatility that contractors need on the jobsite,” says Joel Hicks, product line manager at Kioti. “With standard features ready for day one use, intuitive operation, and reliable performance, it helps crews stay productive across applications—ranging from site prep and trenching to material handling, utility work, and cleanup.”

Kioti officials say that other products “may have higher individual specifications” than the MX Series, but the line separates itself from the pack in a slew of other ways.

Setting the MX Series apart

The MX Series boasts an all in one equipment package, the company says, promising “immediate jobsite readiness, greater value, and increased efficiency.” The new series includes three new models in the form of the MX350 and its extended arm model, and the MX570, a significantly heavier machine at 5.7 tons.

The machine fleet will come factory equipped with an angle blade, thumb, auxiliary hydraulics, and a mechanical quick coupler. The company says the new additions will eliminate the need for aftermarket part additions completely.

Additionally, the machines have been designed for contractors and “address the growing need for reliable equipment that minimizes downtime.”

“Smooth, stable multi-function hydraulics enable precise, simultaneous movements, giving operators greater control and improving overall efficiency,” the company says. “Reinforced structures, protected components, and load-holding valves support long-term durability across demanding work environments. The MX350 standard model features a zero-tail swing design that enables efficient operation in confined jobsites.”

The machines will also receive consistent support from Kioti’s network of dealers. The new portfolio additions aim to strengthen the firm’s line of construction equipment while offering practical and “job-ready” solutions for contractors.

The Kioti Tractor MX Series line of mini excavators is scheduled to launch in spring 2026, company representatives say.
