Case Debuts New Mini Excavators, Electric Mini Track Loader

Case Construction Equipment has announced a set of three new three-ton mini excavators, as well as an electric mini track loader, aiming to balance performance and precision to maximize site potential.
Boasting a zero tailswing, automotive-style cab experience as well as “attachment versatility,” the new “D Series” mini excavator machines — the CX30D, CX34D, and CX38D — are built for functionality, control, and jobsite comfort, representatives from the company say.
Launching the latest in the D Series
“These power-packed machines offer an ideal balance of muscle, precision and attachment compatibility for efficient work in tight quarters,” the company says. “With a compact zero-tail swing design, operators can work up close against walls, near structures or around hazards with confidence, improving productivity on any jobsite.”
Combining “business-class comfort with no-nonsense performance,” the machines boast adaptability in their design. The new excavators also each come equipped with different standard features depending on the model, the firm says, with each specializing in a different area, but all of them working with a variety of different attachments.
“An automotive-style cab with ergonomic controls, a suspension seat and excellent all-around visibility elevate the operator experience and jobsite awareness. They also deliver improved stability and productivity with a well-balanced undercarriage for steady operation and an optional 6-way dozer blade available for the top-of-class CX38D that makes grading and backfilling a breeze.”
Operators will be able to easily swap between attachments for each of the three new mini excavator machines, with options including digging, trenching, earthmoving, and vegetation management.
“Operators can easily swap attachments with multifunction one- and two-way hydraulics and a second two-way auxiliary hydraulic circuit,” Case officials say. “Plus, an optional third hydraulic circuit and a constant-flow circuit enable the use of power-hungry attachments for more specialized tasks.”

Debuting the Case TL100EV
The Racine, Wisconsin-based firm also introduced its TL100EV electric mini track loader, growing its portfolio of electrified machines. The machine boasts an operating capacity of 1,000 pounds, and can do the work of a loader, lifter, and multi-purpose attachment carrier in one, the company says.
“Perfect for contractors, landscapers, grounds maintenance teams, municipal work, indoor demolition and DIY renters, this mini track loader improves efficiency and safety on jobsites requiring reduced noise levels,” firm representatives say. “With zero emissions it can also run indoors without the challenges of managing exhaust.”
The machine is equipped with 25 kWh of battery capacity throughout its three electric motors totaling 55 horsepower in all. Case officials say the machine provides more torque and performance perks than similarly sized diesel models.
Much like the mini excavators, the electrified machine is also compatible with a number of standard industrial attachments, including those used by the diesel TL100. The machine emphasizes crew efficiency with its modern operator display panel and multiple work modes.
“A 42-in. wide track option provides maximum stability while a 36-in. narrow track option allows access through entryways and tight spaces,” the company adds. “Whether on concrete, indoors, grass, mud or snow, narrower 7-inch tracks give maximum leverage in tight spaces, while 10-inch tracks offer more flotation and less ground pressure for total stability. Non-marring tracks are also available as a factory option.”
